Carpentry & Trim for homes and businesses
Trim is where a house shows its age first: gaps where baseboard meets the floor, casing pulling away from the wall, a soft spot on an exterior window sill. Good carpentry fixes the cause and finishes the joints so the repair blends with the original work.

- Door and window casing
- Crown molding repairs and short runs
- Closet shelving and rods

Questions about carpentry & trim
Can you replace just the rotted section of trim?
Often, yes. If the rot is limited, that section can be cut out, replaced, primed and caulked. If it runs the full length of the board, replacing the whole piece is usually cleaner and lasts longer.
Wood or PVC for exterior trim?
Both are options. PVC trim won't rot, which makes it a good choice in spots that stay wet, like the bottom of door frames. Wood matches existing trim more easily. We'll go over the trade-off for your spot.
