Questions about faucet & toilet repair
My toilet keeps running. Is it worth repairing?
Almost always. A worn flapper or fill valve is an inexpensive part, and replacing it usually stops the running. If the tank or bowl is cracked, replacing the toilet makes more sense.
When should I re-caulk my shower?
When the caulk is cracked, pulling away, or has mold that won't clean off. The old caulk is cut out completely and the joint dried before new silicone goes in. Plan to wait a day before using the shower.
